Because of differences between PHost and THost generated VCRs (Visual Combat Recordings) you cannot use the VCR program that comes with your official Planets client. The standard battle viewer for PHost games is the PVCR. There are also other third-party battle viewers available.

I use PVCR. You can download it at http://www.planetsserver.com/help/viewing_battles.html

Weeeeeeellllllll.... Glad we are getting these things figured out before we really get started. I would hate to be in TRN 15 or 25 and try to see who kicked my butt and how smartly only to get the bum rush.

Of course, I am getting used to that "Oh By The Way" moments... we are trying to build a house and at every turn the bank, the county, the state, the contractor are all telling me that. OBTW, there are a few hoops you need to jump thru... OBTW, did we mention that we were going to light said hoops on fire? .... OBTW, did we further mention that you need to be blindfolded before the jump?

I was hoping to take some of my frustration out on someone in the game, but after seeing the elite group we have here I have come to the realization that I am gunna die.

Not upset a bit Petrock. Baer Skins are expensive however.

/\/\ule, I downloaded this viewer, I hesitate to load it into my Winplan without knowing more. Will it mess up my normal VCR? Also it looks like a pain in the butt to use with real ancient graphics. Am I missing something?

Nothing to say, have just had quite a bit of trouble getting the forum to allow me to post.
Thanks to Mule, looks like I can now be one of the group, metaphorically speaking, anyway.

I just sent everyone the viewer I am using. It's only 833 KB. I didn't have to do any of the dos commands the planetsserver describes. Just unzip file and install. It should be a slam dunk.

As far a Starbuck goes, it is the duty of all good players to harm him whenever it is possible to do so. This isn't so much a part of the game as it is a way of life.
